Sayweek helps businesses publish honest, useful content in their own voice. This policy sets out what Sayweek may not be used for, so that your accounts, your audience and other customers stay safe.
1. Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses Sayweek – Owners, Editors, and clients who review posts through an approval link – and to all content created, scheduled or published through Sayweek. It is part of our Terms of Service. The Customer is responsible for making sure that its Users and clients follow it.
2. No spam or unsolicited messages
- No spam, and no bulk or automated unsolicited messages, comments, mentions, tags or connection requests.
- No posting the same or almost the same content repeatedly across many accounts or channels in order to game the platforms’ ranking.
- No misleading links, clickbait that hides the real destination, link shorteners used to disguise harmful sites, or chain letters.
- Respect the rules on commercial communications and marketing consent that apply to you and your recipients.
3. No fake accounts, fake engagement or deception
- No fake, bought or automated accounts, and no managing accounts or pages you are not authorised to manage.
- No fake likes, followers, views, comments or reviews, no engagement pods or “like-for-like” schemes, and no other artificial manipulation of reach.
- No impersonation of people, companies or authorities, and no creating the false impression that someone endorses you.
- No hidden advertising: sponsored posts, affiliate links and paid partnerships must be labelled as the law and the platform require.
- No fraud, phishing, pyramid schemes, fake giveaways or other deceptive practices.
- No fake sign-ups, self-referrals or other tricks to earn referral credits.
- Team voice: nothing is published on a colleague’s personal profile without that colleague’s own approval, and nobody may be pressured into taking part.
4. Prohibited content
- content that is illegal where it is published or where you or your audience are located;
- hate speech, or content that incites violence or discrimination on the basis of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
- harassment, threats, bullying, doxxing (publishing someone’s private data), or defamation;
- terrorist or violent extremist content, and content that glorifies serious violence;
- any sexual content involving minors, and sexual or explicit content wherever the platform does not allow it;
- content promoting illegal goods or services, such as drugs, weapons, counterfeits or gambling without a licence;
- personal data of other people that you have no lawful basis to publish.
5. Intellectual property
Only publish content you have the rights to: texts, images, videos, music, logos and trade marks. Do not use other people’s works, names or likenesses without permission. Saving a page or text as an idea (for example with the browser extension) does not give you the right to publish it. If you believe content published through Sayweek infringes your rights, see Copyright & takedown notices.
6. Misuse of AI
- No deepfakes: no realistic AI-generated or AI-altered images, audio or video of real people without their consent, and never in a way that could deceive the audience.
- No political advertising or election content without the disclosure required by law and by the platform, and no disinformation about elections, public health or emergencies.
- No unsubstantiated medical, health, legal or financial claims (for example promises of cures, guaranteed returns or “risk-free” investments), and no regulated advice that you are not licensed to give.
- No using Sayweek to generate content at scale in order to flood platforms, or to produce content designed to evade platform moderation.
- No mass publishing through AI assistants (MCP), the API or automations such as Zapier or Make without a person reviewing the posts. If an Owner switches off required human approval, the Customer remains responsible for every post its automations approve.
- Label AI-generated content where the law (for example Article 50 of the EU AI Act) or the platform requires it – see the AI & Content Policy.
7. Security and technical misuse
- No malware, viruses or harmful code in uploads or links.
- No security testing, vulnerability scanning or penetration testing without our prior permission. If you have found a vulnerability, please report it as described on the Security page.
- No circumventing plan limits, AI quotas or the trial (for example with several accounts or Workspaces for the same business), and no sharing of logins.
- No scraping, no automated access other than through our public API, and no overloading of the Service or the API (for example by ignoring rate limits).
- No reverse engineering, and no attempts to access other customers’ data or our internal systems.
- No circumventing the compliance lock, the required human approval or the AI disclosure settings of a Workspace, for example by using another person’s access.
8. Rules of the social platforms
When you publish through Sayweek, you also publish under the rules of each platform. In particular:
- LinkedIn: User Agreement and Professional Community Policies;
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): Terms of Service, Instagram Terms of Use and Community Standards;
- TikTok: Terms of Service and Community Guidelines;
- YouTube and Google: YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube Community Guidelines and the Google Privacy Policy;
- X: Terms of Service and X Rules;
- Postiz: when posts are sent through Postiz, the Postiz terms of use apply as well.
If a platform restricts or removes your content or account, that is its decision; we cannot overturn it.
9. Enforcement
We do not read your content routinely. When we receive a report or notice a problem (for example from a platform or an automated check), we may review it and take proportionate action:
- a warning with a request to fix the problem;
- removing or blocking a scheduled post, or disconnecting a channel;
- temporarily limiting features (for example publishing, AI or the API) or suspending the Workspace;
- terminating the contract with immediate effect in serious or repeated cases, without a refund;
- informing the affected platform or the competent authorities where the law requires it.
Where possible, we tell you what we did and why, and you can respond to hello@sayweek.com.
10. Reporting abuse
To report abuse, write to hello@sayweek.com with the link or a screenshot of the content and a short explanation. Copyright complaints: Copyright & takedown notices. Security vulnerabilities: Security.
