Draft – under legal review
This text is still being reviewed by our lawyer. The final version may differ; we will tell you in advance about material changes and ask you to accept them again.
These terms apply to the Sayweek apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. They complement our Terms of Service; the app stores’ standard terms apply as well.
1. Scope
The Sayweek apps for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) give you mobile access to your Sayweek Workspace: reviewing and approving posts, collecting ideas and receiving notifications. You need a Sayweek account to use them. Your use of the apps is governed by our Terms of Service, together with the app store terms described below.
2. iOS app: Apple’s standard licence
The iOS app is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), together with our Terms of Service. We do not use a custom licence agreement. Where the Standard EULA and our Terms conflict about the licence to use the app, the Standard EULA prevails.
For clarity, this means in particular:
- Acknowledgement: the licence is concluded between you and MAD Consulting L.L.C-FZ, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Scope of licence: you receive a non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Maintenance and support: we alone are responsible for maintenance and support of the app (contact: hello@sayweek.com). Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services.
- Warranty: if the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (the app is free). To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app; any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages or costs due to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, within the limits of our Terms.
- Product claims: we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims by you or third parties relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property claims: if a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging the claim.
- Legal compliance: you confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact: MAD Consulting L.L.C-FZ, Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E., hello@sayweek.com.
- Third-party terms: when using the app you must comply with applicable third-party terms, for example your mobile carrier’s terms, and the terms of the social platforms you connect.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Standard EULA and of these terms as they relate to the app, and Apple may enforce them against you.
3. Android app: Google Play
The Google Play Terms of Service apply to downloading the Android app from Google Play; our Terms of Service apply to its use. We, not Google, are responsible for the app, its content, maintenance and support. Google has no obligation to provide support for the app.
4. No purchases in the apps
The apps are free to download and offer no in-app purchases. Subscriptions and AI packs can be bought only on the web at sayweek.com; the apps show your Plan and usage but no prices or purchase links. Cancellation and refunds are handled as described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy; Apple and Google do not process any payments for Sayweek.
5. Permissions and data
- The apps ask for device permissions only when you use the related feature: notifications (for example when a post is waiting for your approval), the microphone (voice notes for ideas), Reminders on iOS (importing ideas from a “Sayweek” list) and Face ID (signing in without a password). You can withdraw each permission at any time in your device settings.
- How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
- You can also delete your account in the app (Settings → Data & privacy → Delete account); see also Data deletion.
6. Updates and availability
Some features may require the latest version of the app or of your operating system. We may stop supporting older versions, and we do not guarantee that the apps remain available in every store or country. The web app at sayweek.com stays available in any case.
7. Contact
Questions, support or complaints about the apps: hello@sayweek.com. MAD Consulting L.L.C-FZ, Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E.. [Lawyer: confirm that the standard Apple EULA plus these clarifications is sufficient (no custom EULA in App Store Connect)]
