Zapier
Coming soonThis feature is coming soon – this guide shows how it will work.
The Sayweek app for Zapier: triggers for new ideas, drafts, approvals and published posts, actions for ideas, drafts and news sources.
Updated:
The Sayweek app for Zapier connects your ideas, drafts and published posts to thousands of apps without code – for example a Typeform answer becomes an idea, a published post becomes a spreadsheet row.
What it does
- Triggers: New idea · New draft ready for approval · Post approved · Post published · New comment on a published post.
- Actions and searches: Create idea · Create draft post · Add news source (RSS) · Approve post · Find post · Find brand.
Connect
- Open Settings → All integrations and click the Zapier card.
- Under API key, click New key (owner permission needed).
- If the Zap should approve posts too, tick May also approve posts (approve) – only if the Zap / scenario really should publish first.
- Copy the key with Copy – you see it only once.
- Click Sayweek on Zapier ↗ and connect your account in Zapier with the key.
- Pick a trigger or action – or start from one of the Examples on the card.

Good to know
By default the key can create ideas, drafts and news sources and read posts. For the Approve post action, approvals must also be allowed on the Claude & ChatGPT (MCP) card, and Every post is approved by a person under Compliance & AI transparency must be off. Zaps that are on show up under Active triggers.
Disconnect
- Open the Zapier card.
- Click Revoke in the key's row. The Zapier subscriptions made with that key are removed too.
