Change or cancel your plan

Upgrade or downgrade, cancel a card (Stripe) or PayPal subscription, and what stays after cancelling.

Updated:

You can change or cancel your plan at any time under Settings → Subscription. With a card (Stripe) subscription this happens on Stripe's secure billing page; with a PayPal subscription, right inside Sayweek.

Before you start

This needs the owner role. Billing isn't shown in the phone apps – use the website.

Change plan (card subscription)

  1. Open Settings → Subscription.
  2. In the Compare plans table, click Switch on the plan you want.
  3. Confirm the new plan on Stripe's billing page.

When you upgrade, you get the bigger quota immediately and the rest of the month is prorated. When you downgrade, Stripe credits the difference on your next invoice; if you have more brands or channels than the smaller plan allows, the existing ones stay – you just can't add new ones.

Cancel (card subscription)

  1. On the Subscription page, click Manage billing ↗.
  2. Cancel the subscription on Stripe's page.
  3. Back in Sayweek, Next charge shows until when everything stays available.

PayPal subscription

  • Change: in the PayPal subscription section, pick the new plan in the Change plan list and click Switch to this. You approve the new price on PayPal; the change applies from the next charge.
  • Cancel: click Cancel and confirm. Everything works until the end of the paid period, with no further charges.

What happens after cancelling?

Everything works until the end of the paid period. After that, writing and posting pause, but all your data (posts, brands, rules) stays – export it any time (Export or delete your data) or subscribe again.
