Connect Bluesky
Post straight to Bluesky with an app password: links, @mentions, hashtags, images with alt text, long text as a thread.
Updated:
Bluesky needs no sign-in window: you enter your handle and an app password created in Bluesky. Never enter your account's real password – Sayweek refuses it anyway.
Create an app password
In the Bluesky app or on bsky.app: Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords → Add App Password. Name it “Sayweek”, click Create and copy the xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx password. Don't allow access to direct messages.
Connect
- Open Settings → Brands & channels.
- In the How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts area, click + Connect account.
- In the Which account do you want to connect? window, choose Bluesky.
- In the Connect a Bluesky account window, enter your handle (e.g.
name.bsky.social) under Handle and the password under App password. - Click Connect.
- On the Bluesky card, click Put to use (1) and add the account to a new or existing brand.
