Setting up an integration step by step

Many integrations open with a wizard: numbered steps, addresses to copy, and Sayweek notices by itself once the connection is in place.

Updated:

Connect Claude or ChatGPT

  1. Settings → All integrations: find the “Claude & ChatGPT (MCP)” card and open it.
  2. In the wizard's first step, pick the one you use.
  3. Copy the Sayweek address and follow the steps in Claude or ChatGPT – Sayweek notices by itself once it's connected.

On Settings → All integrations, several integration cards open with a step-by-step wizard. A bar and the 2 / 4 counter at the top show where you are; each step says exactly what to copy, where to click and what to set up in the other app.

Which integrations have a wizard?

  • Notifications: Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord (webhook) – Slack, Discord.
  • The Discord bot for ideas, and the Telegram and WhatsApp bots.
  • Meetings: Fireflies, Fathom and tl;dv.
  • Airtable and Notion.
  • For developers: webhooks, iCal export, Zapier, Make and the AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT) – Claude and ChatGPT.

How it works

  1. Click the integration's card; the wizard opens at the first unfinished step.
  2. Follow the step: once you use its copy button or its open link (↗), the step is ticked. Where you have to choose (for example Claude or ChatGPT), the next steps follow your choice – until you pick, you see Pick one to continue.
  3. Go on with Next and back with Back; you can also click back to steps you've reached in the bar. On the last step the button says Done.
  4. Where Sayweek has to notice the connection, you see Waiting for the connection…. As soon as it's connected, the wizard moves on by itself (Got it ✓); if you don't want to wait, click Check now.

At the end, the Done – everything works ✓ screen (or the integration's own success message, for example Test message sent ✓) tells you all is well. After that the card shows a compact view with the connection's details.
