A brand = name, language, tone and country. Each brand has its own channels (e.g. a LinkedIn profile, a company page, Instagram); per channel you set the days, the times and how posts go out.

Before you start

The Settings → Brands & channels page has two parts: 1. your connected accounts (How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts), 2. your brands and their channels. You can create your first brand once at least one publishing route exists (a Postiz key or a directly connected account). Editing needs the owner or editor role.

New brand

  1. Open Settings → Brands & channels.
  2. Click + New brand.
  3. Basics: choose Company / brand or Private person, enter the name (e.g. “Northwind Advisory”), the country, the Post language and, if you like, the industry.
  4. Tone: write a short tone note or click an example.
  5. Channels: tick one or more connected accounts – each becomes a channel – or choose Channel later.
  6. Timing: pick the posting days and the time.
  7. Summary: check the details, then click Create.

Editing a brand

In the brand's block, Edit brand lets you change 1. Basics (type, name, colour, country, language), 2. Voice (Tone note) and 3. Advanced settings (Audience time zone, Content pillars, Banned words, Opening and closing line library, Link tracking (UTM + short link), AI label). Business brands get no posts on their country's public holidays; personal brands do.

Adding and setting up a channel

  1. In the brand's block, click the Channel for … tile, or Edit on an existing channel.
  2. On the Publishing tab, choose whether posts go Via Postiz or Directly, and to which account.
  3. On the When to post? tab, pick the days and the time, then click Save days and times.
  4. On the Other tab you can switch the channel off (Active) or delete it (Delete channel).
