Weekly call: the weekly interview by phone
Coming soonThis feature is coming soon – this guide shows how it will work.
On your chosen day we call you, read out the weekly questions and you just talk – the recording is deleted after transcription.
Updated:
The weekly call is the phone version of the weekly interview. On the day and time you choose we call you, read out this week's questions in your language, and you answer after the beep. Your answers become a summary and post drafts just like on screen – and every draft waits for your approval.
Switching it on
- Open Settings → Reminders and scroll to the Weekly call – tell it by phone card.
- Enter your phone number with the country code and click Send SMS code.
- Enter the 6-digit code, tick the consent box and click Confirm and switch on.
- Pick the day and time, then Save.
How does the call go?
- We start by telling you that the call is recorded and that the recording is deleted after transcription. If you don't want that, just hang up.
- We only read out the questions you haven't answered on screen yet.
- Answer each question after the beep; when you're done, press # or stay silent for a few seconds.
- If you don't pick up (or voicemail does), we call once more 15 minutes later. After that the questions wait on screen.
- After the call you get a notification: your answers are in and the post drafts are being written.
Stopping it
During a call press 9, send STOP by SMS to the Sayweek number, or click Stop the calls on the card. Delete number and consent also deletes your number and your consent.
Privacy
- We store no audio: the recording is deleted at Twilio right after transcription – within 24 hours at the latest, even if the transcription failed.
- The transcribed answer goes into your weekly interview, like an answer given on screen.
- The Call log only shows what happened (time, status, how many answers) – no number, no audio, and it is deleted after a year.
- We check Twilio's callbacks by their signature; unsigned requests are rejected.
