Airtable
Coming soonThis feature is coming soon – this guide shows how it will work.
Ideas from an Airtable table: new or “ready” records of the table you pick arrive in the ideas inbox every day. Read-only.
Updated:
If you collect content ideas in Airtable, Sayweek checks the table you pick every day and turns new records into ideas in the ideas inbox – just as if you had typed them in. On the ideas list, the Airtable mark shows where they came from.
Connect
- Open Settings → All integrations and click the Airtable card.
- Click + Connect Airtable, sign in and choose which bases Sayweek may access (Add a base).
- Back in Sayweek, click Choose a table: pick the base, the table and, if you like, a view.
- Choose the field that holds the idea. Optionally pick a date field and a status field, then click Save.
Which records come over?
- Without a status field: records created after you switch the import on.
- With a checkbox: ticked records, older ones too.
- With a single-select or text status: records whose status is the value you entered (e.g. “Ready”), older ones too.
Each record comes over only once. Empty records are skipped until someone writes the idea. If the idea field isn't the primary field, the primary field goes in front of the idea as its title; the date field's value is added at the end, and the idea links back to the record.
When does it run?
Once a day in the morning, by itself, with up to 25 new ideas at a time. Start it any time with Sync now. Test connection only checks the connection and the table's structure – it reads no records.
What Sayweek can access
Read-only (data.records:read, schema.bases:read): it sees the structure of the bases you chose and the records of the table you picked, but never changes anything in Airtable. We don't store records – only the idea made from them, a link back and an ID that prevents duplicates. We don't ask for your e-mail address.
Disconnect
- Open the Airtable card on the All integrations page.
- Click Disconnect and confirm. Ideas already in your ideas inbox stay.
- To revoke it in Airtable too: Account → Integrations → Third-party integrations → Sayweek → Revoke access.
