Connect a Facebook Page
Post straight to your Facebook Page with a Meta sign-in – with comments and statistics.
Updated:
The Facebook connection uses a Meta sign-in and brings in your Facebook Pages and the Instagram accounts linked to them in one go. Sayweek then posts to the chosen Page without Postiz.
Before you start
Sign in with a Facebook account that manages the Page. Connecting needs the owner or editor role in Sayweek.
Connect
- Open Settings → Brands & channels.
- In the How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts area, click + Connect account.
- In the Which account do you want to connect? window, choose Facebook / Instagram.
- Sign in to Facebook and, in Meta's window, allow the Pages Sayweek may post to.
- Back in Sayweek, tick the Page in the What should we do with the new account? window and choose New brand for these or Add to an existing brand.
For an existing channel, pick the Page on the channel's Edit → Publishing → Directly tab under Where should it post directly?. If only one Page matches, Sayweek assigns it automatically to Facebook channels without a destination.
What Sayweek can do with Facebook
- Text, image and video posts to your Page, with a first comment.
- Post statistics on the Analytics page.
- Comments on the Ideas page, in Comments under your posts – you can reply and hide spam with Hide.
Disconnect
- Open Settings → Brands & channels and expand the How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts area.
- On the Facebook / Instagram card, click Remove under the account and confirm.
