Connect Instagram
Images, Reels and stories straight to your professional Instagram account – via a Facebook Page, with comments and statistics.
Updated:
Sayweek connects Instagram through the Meta sign-in, in the same step as Facebook. It then posts images, Reels and stories without Postiz.
Before you start
- Only professional (business or creator) Instagram accounts linked to a Facebook Page can be connected.
- An Instagram post can't go out without an image or video – text-only posts aren't possible.
- Connecting needs the owner or editor role.
Connect
- Open Settings → Brands & channels.
- In the How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts area, click + Connect account.
- In the Which account do you want to connect? window, choose Facebook / Instagram.
- Sign in to Facebook and, in Meta's window, allow the Page your Instagram account is linked to.
- Back in Sayweek, tick the Instagram account in the What should we do with the new account? window and choose New brand for these or Add to an existing brand.
The Facebook / Instagram card shows how many Pages and Instagram accounts the sign-in brought in, and Details lists them. If the Instagram account is missing, check that it's a professional account linked to your Facebook Page, then click Reconnect.
What Sayweek can do with Instagram
- Image posts, Reels and stories; Instagram processes videos, which can take a few minutes.
- Statistics on the Analytics page.
- Comments on the Ideas page, in Comments under your posts – with replies and a Hide button.
Disconnect
- To unlink just one channel, click Turn off direct publishing on the channel's Edit → Publishing tab.
- To remove the whole Meta connection, click Remove on the Facebook / Instagram card and confirm.
