Connect TikTok

Videos and photo posts straight to your TikTok account – as a draft in the app or directly, with visibility settings and statistics.

Updated:

With the TikTok connection, Sayweek uploads an approved video or photo post to your TikTok account at its scheduled time – or sends it as a draft to the TikTok app, where you finish it.

Before you start

  • A TikTok post needs a video or an image; photo posts need JPEG or WebP images.
  • Until TikTok has approved the Sayweek app, posts are only visible to you.
  • Connecting needs the owner or editor role.

Connect

  1. Open Settings → Brands & channels.
  2. In the How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts area, click + Connect account.
  3. In the Which account do you want to connect? window, choose TikTok.
  4. Sign in to TikTok and allow posting.
  5. Back in Sayweek, choose New brand for these or Add to an existing brand in the What should we do with the new account? window.

Settings per channel

On the channel's Edit → Publishing → Directly tab, pick a visibility your TikTok account allows under Who can see it (Only me by default). This is also where you switch Comments, Duet and Stitch, and the As a draft to the TikTok app (you finish it there) toggle.

Statistics

Views, likes, comments and shares appear on the Analytics page. If the card says “Reconnect for statistics”, click Reconnect.

Disconnect

  1. Open Settings → Brands & channels and expand the How Sayweek publishes – connected accounts area.
  2. On the TikTok card, click Remove under the account and confirm. Its channels then stop posting.
