HubSpot as an idea source
Coming soonThis feature is coming soon – this guide shows how it will work.
Anonymised post ideas from won deals, stage changes and meetings – read-only, nothing is written back to HubSpot.
Updated:
Every week (Monday), the HubSpot connection looks at the last two weeks' won and new deals, stage changes and completed meetings, and turns them into 0–3 topic ideas – for example the lesson from a finished project, without names.
Before you start
You need the owner or editor role in Sayweek and a HubSpot account that can authorise an app.
Connect
- Open Settings → All integrations and click the HubSpot card (the same panel is also on Mail and calendar).
- Click + Connect HubSpot.
- In HubSpot, choose the account and allow access.
- Back in Sayweek, if you have several brands, choose under Brand which one the ideas are for – or keep Any brand (Claude picks).
What Sayweek reads
- Read-only – nothing is written back to HubSpot.
- Before anything goes to the AI, company and person names, email addresses, amounts and anything price- or contract-related are masked; only industry, company size band, stage and a few topic words are sent.
- Your client names are masked too.
- No CRM data is stored, only a short-lived fingerprint so the same event doesn't come twice.
Run now gets ideas straight away; the account row shows the result of the last run. Ideas appear under Ideas → From mail & calendar.
Disconnect
- Open the HubSpot panel (Settings → All integrations → HubSpot).
- In the account row, click Disconnect and confirm. Ideas already created stay.
