Coming soonThis feature is coming soon – this guide shows how it will work.
Image Pins straight to the Pinterest board you pick, with a title, a description and a destination link; impressions, saves and clicks in your statistics.
Updated:
A Pinterest channel publishes your approved posts as image Pins on the board you pick, at the scheduled time. The first line of the text is the Pin title (up to 100 characters), the rest is the description (up to 500 characters, hashtags included).
Before you start
You need a Pinterest account (a business account is recommended) with at least one board. Owners and editors can connect it.
Connect
- Open Settings → Channels.
- Among the connected accounts, click Connect on the Pinterest card.
- Sign in to Pinterest and allow the requested access.
- Create a Pinterest channel for a brand, then pick the board under Publishing.
A Pin in the editor
- An image is required (JPEG, PNG or WebP) – without one the post can't be approved.
- The first line is the title, the description follows.
- Enter your website link in Destination link (where the Pin leads); when it's empty, the first https:// link of the text is used.
- Alt text helps visually impaired readers and Pinterest search.
Disconnect
- Open Settings → Channels.
- Click Remove next to the Pinterest account. Its channels stop posting; Pins already published stay.
