Post, series and campaign templates
Save the structure of a post, series or campaign that works, with placeholders, share it with your team and reuse it – or pick one from the community library.
Updated:
What worked once – a product announcement, a weekly tips series or an event campaign – doesn't have to be reinvented every time. Save it as a template and mark the parts that change with placeholders.
- On a post's page, click Save as template under Templates – or New template on the Templates page.
- Pick the type (post, series or campaign) and put the changing parts in double curly braces, e.g.
{{product}}or{{date}}. - Under Who sees it? decide whether the team or only you can see it.
- To use it, click Use, fill in the placeholders, choose the channels and the start day, then Create drafts – the drafts land in your open slots.
On an existing draft, Use a template for this post puts the template's text into the draft (the earlier text stays in the versions). The campaign planner and the series planner take you to the matching templates in one click.
Community library
- In the Community library tab you can browse templates shared by other Sayweek users; Copy to team templates adds one to your own.
- Share with the community is optional: we send an anonymised copy in which company names, names, e-mail addresses, links, phone numbers and @handles are replaced with placeholders.
- The Sayweek team reviews every submitted template before anyone can see it; Withdraw from the community takes it back at any time.
