RSS feeds and competitors for the news radar
Per brand: industry, proven news sources, your own RSS feeds and watched competitors – the news radar picks from them every morning.
Updated:
The news radar works from these sources per brand: an industry source library, your own RSS feeds and the competitors you watch. There's no account to connect – you just add the sources.
Industry and proven sources
- Open Settings → News & sources.
- On the brand's card, pick the industry in the Industry & sources row – you get 15–25 proven sources (trade media, associations, regulators, events, podcasts, YouTube, Reddit, Google News searches).
- Click Manage sources and switch individual sources on or off.

Add your own source or a competitor
- In the Your own sources and competitors part of Manage sources, enter a site or RSS address (e.g.
https://site.com) and click Add – the confirmation shows how many articles it found. - For a competitor, click + Competitor, fill in Competitor name and, if there is one, their blog's RSS address, then click Add.
What Sayweek reads
Only public news feeds: headlines, links and short summaries. For a competitor without an address, it watches their name in Google News and never opens their pages. The picks are ready every morning; under Ideas → From news, ↻ Refresh now fetches new ones right away. The weekly interview can add sources too (“from interview”).
Remove a source
- Open Manage sources for the brand.
- Switch the source off, or for your own source click ✕ (Remove).
