Approving posts
Nothing goes out without approval. How to approve a post, how two-step approval works, and how to answer a client's comment.
Updated:
Sayweek never publishes a post without approval. An approved post is scheduled for its time – through Postiz or a direct connection.
Who can approve?
- Owners and editors. With two-step approval switched on, an editor only submits the post for approval.
- Viewers can look at posts but can't approve them.
- A team voice contributor only reviews their own posts – see Team voice.
Approving a post
- Open the Weekly plan page – the header shows how many posts are waiting for review.
- Click Edit on the post card.
- Tick the To check items and fix the red blockers until the Approval card says Ready to approve.
- Click Approve and schedule – unsaved changes are saved automatically first.
If a post has no blockers, you can also approve it with Approve on its card in the weekly plan. Publish now sends the post out right away (after you confirm; owners only). To pull back an approved post that hasn't been published yet, use Revoke (back to draft): it's deleted from Postiz too and becomes a draft again.

Two-step approval
If a ghostwriter or assistant works with you, you can make sure nothing goes out without an owner's approval. Then an editor's Approve and schedule only submits the post, the owners get a notification, and editors can't publish right away either.
- Open Settings → Team and roles.
- Switch on Two-step approval – only an owner can do this.
- When an editor submits a post, open it from the notification, review it and approve it.
Client feedback on the post
If your client left a comment or requested changes on the approval link, the editor shows a Client feedback section. Reply in the Reply to the client (they see it on the link) field with Send, and mark handled feedback with Resolved. A client's approval alone never sends the post out – your own approval is still needed.
