Comment → automatic DM
Coming soonThis feature is coming soon – this guide shows how it will work.
When someone comments a keyword under your Facebook or Instagram post, Sayweek sends them your text and link in a private message – once.
Updated:
Write “Comment LINK” in your post, and everyone who comments that gets what you promised in a private message (Instagram Direct or Messenger): a link, a download, a coupon code. A public reply can also go under their comment, so they know the message has arrived.
Set it up in the post editor
- Open a post that goes to a directly connected Facebook Page or Instagram account (it doesn't work for posts sent through Postiz).
- In the comment → DM section, enter up to 5 keywords.
- Write the message (up to 900 characters) and, if you like, add an https link – it's added at the end as a click-counting short link.
- If you want, write public replies for under the comment, one per line (up to 300 characters).
- Confirm that Sayweek may send the message automatically, and save. This needs approval rights (owner or editor); the rule is then active.
Keyword tips
- Pick a short, eye-catching word nobody would write by accident: LINK, GUIDE, LIST, COUPON.
- Upper or lower case and accents don't matter, but it has to be a whole word: “link!” and “Link 🙏” match, “linkedin” doesn't.
- 2–30 characters per keyword; you can separate several with commas.
- Avoid everyday words (like “great”), or people who only wanted to say something nice get a message too.
A line for the caption
Sayweek suggests a line in the post's language, for example: Comment “LINK” and I'll send you the details in a DM! 📩 While the post is still an idea or a draft, you can add it to the end of the text in one click. Without it, readers won't know what to write.
Public replies
If you write several variants (one per line), Sayweek picks one at random each time, so the replies don't all look the same. Leave it empty and only the private message goes out.
Rules and limits
- One private message per comment, within 7 days of the comment – that's Meta's rule.
- Each person gets the message only once per rule, however often they comment.
- At most 120 automatic messages go out per workspace and 60 per rule each hour; the rest are skipped and counted.
- Your own comments (like the first comment or the public reply) never trigger a message.
- On the Messages page, the Comment → DM button opens the rules page: there the main switch stops everything, and you can pause each rule on its own. No message goes out while the emergency brake is on either.
Stats and log
For each rule you see how many comments matched, how many messages went out and how many people clicked the link. Every message sent shows up on the Messages page, marked as automatic, so you can carry on the conversation there. Comment texts aren't stored; the log keeps only Meta's IDs and the outcome, for 180 days.
