The iPhone and iPad app
Face ID sign-in, approving from a notification, a widget and the Share menu – Sayweek's native app for iPhone and iPad.
Updated:
The iPhone and iPad app uses the same account and the same data as Sayweek on the web: approve on your phone and see the post as sent on your computer. On top of that it adds Face ID sign-in, a home-screen widget, the Share menu and notifications.
Before you start
- Install the app from the App Store as soon as it's available there – the app page shows the current status.
- You need iOS 15 or later and a Sayweek account (you can also sign up on the web).
- The app doesn't show prices or checkout: you manage your subscription on the web.
Sign in and link the phone
- Open the app and sign in with Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, or with your password (Sign in).
- Open Settings → Apple: iCloud and iPhone.
- Under On this iPhone / iPad, tap Connect.
- Switch on Sign in with Face ID.
From then on Face ID is one tap on the sign-in screen, and the widget and Share menu work too. Linking issues a device key kept in the iOS Keychain; once linked, you see Renew key instead.
Notifications
- Open Settings → Reminders.
- Under Notifications on this device, tap Turn on notifications and allow them when iOS asks.
From a notification about a single post waiting for approval you can approve it straight away with Face ID, and you get a notification when your client approves.
