Sign-in methods: Google, Microsoft, password, passkey, Apple
The ways you can sign in to Sayweek, how to set a password, and when you can turn password sign-in off.
Updated:
One account can have several sign-in methods: Google, Microsoft (when it's enabled on the server), a password, passkeys and, in the iPhone app, Sign in with Apple and Face ID. They all open the same account as long as you use the same email address.
What you see on the sign-in page
- Continue with Google – sign in with your Google account.
- Continue with Microsoft – shown only when Microsoft sign-in is enabled.
- A passkey button (e.g. Sign in with Touch ID) – once you've added a passkey on this device.
- E-mail or username and Password, then Sign in – if you have a password. Forgotten it? Click Forgot password?.
Set or change your password
- Open Settings → Account & security.
- Expand Sign-in methods.
- In the Password row, click Set password (or Change password).
- Optionally enter a Username (optional) – you can sign in with it too.
- Fill in New password and Repeat new password (at least 10 characters, letters and numbers). When changing it, Current password is required as well.
- Click Set password (or Change password).
Turn off password sign-in
If you also sign in with Google or Microsoft, the Password row shows Turn off password sign-in. After that you sign in with the other methods only.
Apple and Face ID in the iPhone app
On the sign-in screen of the iPhone app, use Continue with Apple – with the same email address as on the web. For Face ID, link the phone first: see iPhone app.
