Share menu, widget and Siri
Ideas from any app via the Share menu, a home-screen widget with posts waiting for approval, and ideas by Siri through Reminders.
Updated:
With the phone apps you can collect ideas without opening Sayweek: share a link or some text, jot it on your Reminders list, or tell Siri. For all of these, link the phone first – see iPhone app or Android app.
Share menu
- In an app (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Photos, Notes, LinkedIn), open the Share menu.
- Choose Sayweek on iPhone, or Sayweek idea on Android.
The text or link lands in the Idea box, which you find on the Ideas page. With the Viewer (read-only) role you can't add ideas from the Share menu.
Widget (iPhone, iPad)
- Long-press the home screen.
- Tap the + button and choose Sayweek.
The widget shows what needs approval and what goes out next. With the Contributor (Team voice) role, the widget shows no data.
Siri and Reminders (iPhone, iPad)
- In the app, open the Ideas page and tap ☑ Connect Reminders; allow access.
- Add the idea to the “Sayweek” list in Reminders, or say: “Hey Siri, add … to my Sayweek list”.
The next time you open the Ideas page, Sayweek pulls the list's items into the Idea box and ticks them off. Details: Apple Reminders and Siri.
