LinkedIn profile audit: score and rewrite suggestions
Paste your headline, About and featured items: you get a scored checklist and rewrites to copy, matched to your posts.
Updated:
On the Statistics page, the Audience tab shows the LinkedIn profile audit card. It checks your profile: is it clear who you help and how, do the first lines hook the reader, is there proof and a call to action – and does it match what you post about?
- Open your own LinkedIn profile and copy your headline (the line under your name) and the text of your About section.
- Paste them into the card; under Featured items, enter one item's title per line (optional).
- Click Audit my profile. Within half a minute you get a 0–100 score and the checklist.
- Next to the Headline ideas and the About rewrites, use Copy to take the text over to LinkedIn.
What it's matched to
- The brand's latest LinkedIn posts (if it has a connected LinkedIn channel), its topic pillars, industry and voice.
- No made-up clients or numbers: where proof is needed you get a placeholder in square brackets, such as [X clients].
- The last audit is kept per brand, so you can compare it with a new one later.
Why do I have to paste the text?
LinkedIn doesn't let apps read your profile, so we only audit what you paste. Nothing is written to your profile.
