Photo assistant: your own photos for posts
Weekly photo prompts for upcoming posts, automatic crops for every network, gentle enhancement with undo, and a suggestion for the best photo.
Updated:
Your own photo is the best image for a post. The Photos page tells you which posts could use one and prepares an uploaded photo for every network. Open it from the photo card in the weekly plan or from search (⌘K / Ctrl+K).
Weekly photo prompts
- For every post without an image in the next 7 days we ask for a photo – for the post's day, or the day before for a morning post.
- The prompt suggests a kind of shot from the post's topic (team, client, product, event, portrait…).
- On Mondays, at your reminder hour, we send one summary by push notification and – if you linked it – on Telegram. A card shows up in the weekly plan too.
- If a post doesn't need a photo, click Not needed.
Upload, crop and enhance
- Click Upload photo – on a phone you can use the camera too.
- Under Crops per network you see how it looks as a square, portrait, landscape or story.
- Auto enhance gently adjusts brightness and contrast; you can also straighten it by hand.
- Compare in the Before / after view and undo any time with Back to the original.
- With Use on a post the photo goes on the post, cropped for the post's channel.
The best photo for a post
In the post editor, the Photo from library button shows the three best-fitting photos with the reasons: taken for this post, same brand, sharp, right shape, recent. One click and it's on the post – the post still waits for your approval.
