Telegram bot: ideas from anywhere
Link your Telegram to the Sayweek bot: text, links, voice notes or captioned photos all land as ideas.
Updated:
Send Sayweek's Telegram bot anything on the go – a few lines, a link, a voice note or a photo with a caption – and it waits in Sayweek as an idea. The bot can also write the draft for you.
Before you start
The link is personal: each team member links their own Telegram to their own Sayweek account. The bot saves ideas for owners and editors; viewers and team voice contributors can't send ideas through it.
Connect
- Open Settings → All integrations.
- Click the Telegram card – its panel opens on the right (at the bottom on a phone).
- Click Connect. A one-time code appears (valid for 15 minutes).
- Click Open in Telegram.
- In Telegram, tap Start. The bot replies that your account is linked.
What you can send
- Text or a link – it lands in the Ideas box.
- A voice note of up to 5 minutes – Sayweek transcribes it and the transcript becomes the idea.
- A photo with a caption – the caption becomes the idea; the photo isn't downloaded.
- A meeting transcript as a file (.txt, .vtt, .srt, .docx) or as a longer text with several speakers – it becomes meeting ideas.
- Commands:
/draft– write the last idea for the best free slot,/week– the next 7 days,/help– help,/stop– unlink.
What Sayweek stores
Only the idea text (with names masked), the link and a voice note's transcript – never the audio or the photo. Nothing from unlinked chats is stored. Each chat can send up to 10 messages a minute and 60 an hour.
Disconnect
- Open Settings → All integrations.
- Click the Telegram card – its panel opens on the right (at the bottom on a phone).
- Click Disconnect.
- Confirm the question. The bot won't save your messages any more.
I want to use a different Telegram account. What do I do?
On the Telegram card, click Link another chat and link the new chat the same way. You can also unlink from Telegram with /stop.
