Ideas from your meetings

Paste or upload a meeting transcript, or connect a note-taker – you get 1–3 post ideas, and the transcript is never stored.

Updated:

A good meeting holds plenty of lessons worth a post. Sayweek looks for 1–3 post ideas in a transcript or summary and puts them on Ideas → From mail & calendar, with “meeting” as the source. You can paste a transcript by hand, or connect a note-taking tool so ideas arrive by themselves every day.

Add a transcript by hand

  1. Open the Ideas page (the Ideas box or the From mail & calendar tab).
  2. Click + Meeting transcript.
  3. Paste the text into Transcript or summary, or drop in a .txt, .vtt, .srt or .docx file (up to 3 MB).
  4. Optionally fill in Meeting title (optional), Date and Brand.
  5. Click ✦ Get ideas, then Open ideas.

Pasted text needs at least 120 characters. A transcript from any tool works (e.g. Otter, Read.ai): export it as text, or forward its summary e-mail to your idea address.

Connect a note-taking tool

With a connected tool, Sayweek checks the meetings of the past few days every day. The connection steps per tool: Fireflies.ai, Fathom, tl;dv, Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Once one is connected, you can also run it straight away with Get ideas from meetings on the From mail & calendar tab.

What Sayweek does with the transcript

  • It reads the transcript in memory only and never stores it.
  • Names, companies and contact details are masked, and sentences about prices, contracts, health or legal matters are left out before anything goes to Claude.
  • Meetings whose title looks private or confidential are skipped.
  • The same transcript never gives ideas twice.

On the idea card, pick a Time slot and click True and fine to share – write it here to have it written, or ⇢ Write it to the waiting list to put it on the waiting list. If you don't need it: Dismiss.

Why did I get “No good post idea in this one”?

Too little generalisable insight was left after masking. Try the full transcript or pick another brand.
