Post performance and best times

A single post's numbers, the “vs typical” index, the best times to post and which topic, opening and format works.

Updated:

Which post worked, when is it worth posting, and which topic or format brings the most? The Analytics page compares every post with the average of its own channel, so a LinkedIn post and an Instagram post can be compared too.

A single post's numbers

  1. Open Analytics and switch to the Posts tab.
  2. Search with Search posts… or filter with All platforms.
  3. On a larger screen, sort by any column – click its header (Date, Impressions, Interactions, Rate, vs typical).
  4. Click a post: its details open with the Day by day timeline, Reactions by type and – with Google Analytics – the Website (Google Analytics) section.

From the details, Open on the platform ↗ takes you to the social network and Open the post to the editor.

What does “1×” mean?

The vs typical column and the Top posts list compare a post's result with its channel's average: 1× = a typical post, 2× = twice as good. The Engagement rate is interactions ÷ impressions on posts where both are known – 1–5% is typical across platforms.

Best times and topics

  • Best times (on the Overview tab): weekday × hour in the audience's time zone, from the measured posts of the last six months. An empty cell means you haven't posted at that time yet.
  • Content tab: by content pillar, opening line type, format, length, number of hashtags and weekday. Each group needs at least 2 measured posts.
  • What happened?: standout and weaker posts, trends, best times and topics – rule-based, not AI.
