Reconnect an expired connection
When an integration “Needs attention” or a sign-in has expired: how to find out what's wrong and how to connect it again.
Updated:
Sign-ins to social networks and other services expire after a while, or you may revoke them on the service's side. Until you reconnect, Sayweek can't post there or read data from it.
How you can tell
- In the Settings menu, a tab shows Reports an error or Needs setting up.
- On All integrations, the card says Needs attention with the fix below it.
- Under Brands & channels, the account shows Expired – reconnect or Expires soon – reconnect.
- A post's error message, e.g. “The LinkedIn sign-in has expired – reconnect it (Settings → Channels).”
Reconnect
- Open Settings → All integrations.
- Click the Needs attention filter and open the affected card.
- Read the How to fix line and click the Configure link next to it.
- Connect the account again – for a social account with Reconnect – and sign in to the service.
- Go back to the card and click Test connection.

The most common fixes
- “The sign-in has expired – reconnect it.”
- “The sign-in expires within a week – reconnect now so nothing stops.”
- “An active channel has no publishing route – link it to an account.”
- “The last run reported an error – check the details, then run the test.”
