A post wasn't published
What the post statuses mean, where to see the error, the common causes and how to send the post out again.
Updated:
If an approved post didn't go out, check its status first. Sayweek retries temporary errors (e.g. an overloaded network or a used-up Postiz limit) by itself; if the error persists, the post moves to Error and the reason is shown on the post.
Post statuses
- Draft – not approved yet, it won't go out.
- Queued – you approved it and Sayweek is sending it; on a temporary error it stays here and is retried later.
- Approved – handed to the social network or to Postiz, it appears at its scheduled time.
- Published ✓ – it's live.
- Error – publishing failed even after several attempts.
Fix a failed post and send it again
- On the Week plan page, pick the Error / conflict / no image filter.
- Open the post: the error message is shown at the top in a red box.
- Fix the cause (see below) – for example reconnect the account or shorten the text.
- Click Approve and schedule again.

Common causes
“Postiz reported an error. Take a look and approve it again.”
Postiz rejected the post. The post shows the exact reason (e.g. “According to Postiz the limit is … characters, the post has …”). Fix it, then approve again. If the Postiz account no longer exists or is disabled, assign it to the channel again under Settings → Brands & channels.
“This channel has no publishing route (Postiz or a direct account)…”
No account is connected to the channel. Connect one under Settings → Brands & channels, then approve the post again.
“The LinkedIn sign-in has expired – reconnect it (Settings → Channels).”
Direct connections expire after a while. Reconnect the account – see Reconnect an expired connection.
The post says “Approved” but never went live.
New workspaces start in test mode: approved posts don't go out live – neither through Postiz (they become drafts there: “Sent to Postiz as a draft (test mode, it won't be published).”) nor on directly connected channels. To go live, pick Live under Postiz mode in Settings → Postiz. The same happens while the emergency brake is on – a bar at the top tells you, and you release it under Settings → Postiz too. See Emergency brake.
