Sales triggers: congratulate the people who matter at the right time
New role, funding, award, expansion: Sayweek tells you from public news and suggests a congratulation comment and a short personal message.
Updated:
On the Ideas page, the Networking tab has a Sales opportunities section: it shows when fresh, good news has appeared about the people or companies on your list. For each one you get two congratulation comments and a short personal message in your own voice – you send them yourself.
Where do the opportunities come from?
- Public news: every morning after 6:00 I check Google News results for the people and companies on your list (for a person, the name together with the company, so namesakes stay out).
- The company's own news feed: if you add a company's website, I look up its public RSS feed and watch its announcements too.
- What you paste: in the What would you react to? box, choose News about someone and paste the announcement or the article link.
Only the good ones, at most three a day
- New role, funding or acquisition, award, expansion, new product or partnership – these are worth a reaction.
- The AI scores each one from 1 to 10 on how good an opportunity it is; only those scoring 6 or more are shown. Bad news (layoffs, lawsuits, scandals) never gets a congratulation.
- The same story in several outlets appears only once, and anything I've shown before doesn't come back.
- Read the opportunity and why it's a good moment (next to the score).
- Click Copy & open ↗ on a comment, or Copy message under Personal message.
- Send it yourself on LinkedIn or by e-mail, then mark it Done ✓ – it counts toward your daily goal.
Does Sayweek read LinkedIn?
No. We never download or monitor LinkedIn, and we never post anything for you. We only use public news sources and what you paste.
