Topic gap watcher: what nobody in your market talks about
Add up to 3 competitors: we look at what they write about and show where you could be first – one click turns it into a post idea.
Updated:
On the Statistics page, the Competitors tab shows the Topic gap watcher card: it reads the public content of up to 3 competitors per brand and compares it with your own posts and topic pillars.
- Enter the competitor's name and website or blog (for example example.com/blog). If they have a newsletter, click + Newsletter or article text to paste its text too.
- Click Add and analyse. If the site has an RSS feed we read that, otherwise the public page itself.
- Look at their topics, then the three lists: What everybody talks about, What nobody in your market talks about and Where you could be first.
- On an idea, click Turn into post idea: it goes into the ideas box, and Sayweek suggests a slot for it in your week.
What we read and what we don't
- Only public content: RSS feeds, public web pages and what you paste. We respect robots.txt.
- Pages behind a login (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X) are never fetched – for these, paste the text of one of their posts or newsletters.
- Competitors' texts aren't stored, only short topic labels. You can delete pasted text at any time.
Does Sayweek copy my competitors' posts?
No. We only look at their topics and suggest ideas they don't cover – from your own experience, in your own voice.
