Compared to similar businesses

Anonymous, aggregated numbers from Sayweek businesses like yours: which day, time window, opening and format work – and what to change because of it.

Updated:

On the Statistics page, the Overview tab shows the Compared to similar businesses card: what works for businesses like yours (same network, industry, country or language), and how your own posts do in comparison.

What the card shows

  • What works for similar businesses: the strongest day, the best two-hour window (in your audience's time), the opening that gets the most comments and the best format – in percent vs a typical post.
  • Your posts: which of your days are weaker or stronger than your own average, and whether you rarely use the opening that works best in the group.
  • Suggested steps: if one of your schedule slots sits on a weak day, Sayweek suggests which day to move it to. Open schedule opens that channel's schedule editor.

A closer group

The more we know about your brand, the closer the group we compare you with. Add the industry and the country on the brand's card under Settings → Brands & channels. When a narrow group doesn't have enough businesses yet, we automatically show a broader one (for example by country or language instead of industry).

Privacy

  • Only anonymous, aggregated numbers are made: texts, names, clients or ids never leave your workspace.
  • At least 5 different workspaces stand behind every number – nothing from a smaller group is shown or even stored.
  • Every workspace counts once, so one very active account can't skew a group. Demo workspaces are left out.
  • The numbers are refreshed once a day.
Why does it say there aren't enough similar businesses yet?

We show numbers once at least 5 similar businesses have enough measured posts on that network. Until then your best times come from research-based defaults and your own results.
