Outlook Calendar (Microsoft 365 or ICS link)
Connect your Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar with Microsoft sign-in or an ICS link – titles and times only.
Updated:
From your Outlook calendar, Sayweek reads where you are and what kind of day it is (travel, time off, events) and adapts your posts to it. There are two ways to connect it: with a Microsoft 365 account (recommended) or with a published ICS link.
Before you start
You need the owner or editor role. In some organisations, the Microsoft 365 admin has to approve Sayweek before users can grant access.
Connect with a Microsoft 365 account
- Open Settings → All integrations and click the Outlook Calendar card.
- Click + Connect a Microsoft 365 account.
- Sign in at Microsoft and allow reading your calendar.
- Back in Sayweek, make sure On is ticked in the account row. If the account is already connected (e.g. for Outlook mail), Allow access is enough.

Connect with an ICS link
- In Outlook: Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish a calendar → Can view all details, then copy the ICS link.
- In Sayweek, paste the link into the Calendar via ICS link (Outlook / Microsoft 365 and others) section of the Outlook Calendar panel (the name defaults to “Outlook”).
- Click Connect.
What Sayweek reads
Read-only. With a Microsoft account, only event titles and times are read – not the location, description or attendees – and private or confidential events are left out of the ideas. Either way, only the city and the type of day are stored; the ICS link is kept encrypted. Once the Microsoft account is connected, the ICS link isn't needed.
Disconnect
- Open Settings → All integrations → Outlook Calendar.
- To stop only the calendar, untick On; to remove the account completely, click Disconnect (this stops every Microsoft feature for that account). For an ICS link, click Delete.
